What is Telehealth?

At Exceed Health Hub, we believe that everyone should be able to access high quality healthcare even when you can’t make it to face-to face appointments. For many reasons, in-person access to your allied health clinic may not always be possible, which is why we offer Telehealth to all clients requiring our assistance. 

It is a common misconception that online or over-the-phone appointments are of lesser value than face-to-face consultations, however it is important to recognise the value of an in-depth conversation with your healthcare practitioner and just how much information, advice and guidance they can provide to you without having to get “hands on”.

What do I need for my Telehealth appointment?

Telehealth Fees

A tax invoice will be sent to you via email at the end of your appointment. Payment instructions will be included on the invoice and you will have an outstanding balance on your file until payment is received. 

Currently most Private Health Insurance companies will not provide a rebate for Telehealth consultations. However this is a constantly evolving environment and we would recommend directly discussing this with your health insurance provider. 

Medicare Chronic Disease Management care plans, WorkSafe, NDIS and TAX clients may be eligible for bulk billed Telehealth appointments. Please let us know if you are eligible or need help finding out!
